We were sad to say goodbye to Noa Chamblerin who went back to college this month. Noa was our summer intern who did a great job handling social media and creating content for our clients’ live events. During her last week, we asked some questions about her experience!
How did you learn about the internship opportunity for Relevant Elephant?
Noa – I was put in touch with Joe Sanders, the owner of Relevant Elephant, through Benjyehuda, a client of the company owned by my family. Following a meeting with Sanders, I was offered a summer position with the RE team.
What excites you about the modern marketing landscape and working for an agency?
Noa – The evolution of the modern marketing landscape is particularly interesting to me as I prepare to enter my final year of college and, eventually, the workforce. The constant growth of marketing strategies and tools makes it an exciting field to be part of. These advancements in technology are reshaping how businesses connect with audiences, and being part of an agency, this summer has allowed me to experience that growth firsthand.
What were some of your tasks over the summer and what did you enjoy about them the most?
Noa – This summer, my responsibilities included attending events for various clients and managing their social media presence. I enjoyed being able to create a noticeable online presence and see the immediate impact of our content. I also handled behind-the-scenes work, such as managing clients’ websites and social media accounts. A highlight for me was attending music festivals and sharing content that resonated and engaged with our clients’ audiences.
What was your key takeaway from this experience that you will take back to college and how will this help start your marketing career?
Noa – A key takeaway from this summer experience was understanding the strategic impact of content creation. Rather than simply uploading content, I learned the importance of aligning it with specific marketing goals to optimize audience engagement, and I’ve also learned how those goals should shape what’s being shared. Over the summer, I picked up valuable skills and learned how to better understand both the audience and the objectives, so that I can create content that truly benefits the client. I’ll carry these new skills into my final year of undergrad and into my future career.
